ANZAC My Family Connections

Room 14's Field of Remembrance

This week  room 14 made a field of remembrance by making crosses. To make the crosses we had to put one a small bit of wood on to a bigger bit of wood. Then we put labels of the people that died in the war like solders and nurses and on the top of the crosses we put a sticker of a silver fern and a Poppy.

The next day we put nails in them and then we put them by the flag pole. We did this so we can remember the solders and nurses that died in the World War 1.

On Friday was tabloids day. My favourite part was sponge race.The hardest part for me was tug of war.I had a fun day.

Athletics

I feel nervous and excited for tomorrow.I would like to achieve jumping further in long jump. My favorite event is high jump because i like jumping over the bar. I am looking forward to doing athletics tomorrow!

Maths

We have been learning about time in Room 7.  I have learnt my o'clocks and half past i have also learnt that 12 is o'clock and 6 is half past and 9 is quarter to and 3 is quarter past . They all have  a meaning.

Athletics

I liked practicing high jump because it was fun jumping high. I have learned to jump higher.  I Jumped over the bar doing a scissor jump.

Me Adelei Zoe Tegan and Poppy read the novel of Coraline. I enjoyed reading the book Coraline. I have seen
 the movie which I have watched. My favourite part is  the beginning when Coraline moved houses and she found a secret door.

Treasure hunt at the Hamilton gardens

Today i went to the Hamilton gardens with Tegan and Tegans little sister Mila and Adelei .Tegans and Milas dad took us to the Hamilton gardens we had so much fun treasure hunting.Can you guess some of these questions below pleas comment if you guessed some of these questions if you go to the Hamilton gardens.

Last week room 7 walked to the pools all week long.we went to the pools at lunchtime we had to wait for the adults and the rest of the kids.On Friday we walled down to the pools we were aloud to talk on the way. On Monday  we got put into groups.On Friday We got free time we got to chose to go  in the warm pool go on the hydro slide or the deep pool I went in the deep pool it was fun I went under the water and I could touch the bottom I swam up and down the water I did a ford roll when everyone was finished we got to go into the warm pool it was very warm when we were finished we had to hop out and get change then we lined by the lookers and went back to school in the cars yay it was a fun day !!!!!!

Planes

      On Thursday we drew a picture of a plane on paint. After that we coloured in our plane and then we wrote the four forces of a plane in the arrows in we wrote the planes four forces that the plane needs to get in the air are drag gravity lift thurst and lift.
